How to find your REAL purpose

 WHY

Why do we need to bother with having a REAL purpose? What’s the difference between a real purpose and an ordinary purpose? Isn't it the same?

Well, we have all been taught in our school to do this and that. We have all been taught by our parents or friends to do things correctly. We all knew what to do eventually and what to achieve in our lives. We want luxuries, popularity, and power, of course.

Isn’t it good if you get help from other people because they know you? Isn’t it good to have the financial freedom to buy things without worrying about your money in the bank? Isn’t it good if we have the power to make other people listen because of how popular we are?

All of those things can become our purpose, but is it really our real purpose?

We have been stranded far away from wealth, popularity, and other false purposes because of social media. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Those platforms are now used for "sharing" their luxuries, vacations, and money. It makes us feel insecure, and we compare ourselves easily because of that. So, in order to avoid false purposes, we need to know our real purposes.

By knowing our real purpose, we can feel good about the process rather than waiting for the result. Have you ever asked yourself, "I will be happy after I achieve a lot of money" or "I will be happy after I publish my book"? Well, you are focusing on the result there. You're not really focusing on the process. In the middle of the process, you will be miserable and want to change the course.

You’ll end up achieving nothing.

Knowing your real purpose can help you find yourself. Find your real intention. Having the feeling of loving the process. You can really enjoy life not by waiting for the result but by enjoying the process. The process is how you live, and the result will be your reward.

So, is it bad to have goals to achieve results?

Of course not. You have to set goals. You need to have the willingness and vision to achieve those results to be motivated. Even so, you can’t really focus on the result every time. You need to really enjoy the process.

What’s an example of having a real purpose?

Ex: I want to become a writer because I want to help other people through writing and literature. People need to know the power of literature because of the modernization that controls their minds. They can’t think deeply because of social media.

You can make your purpose like that or else. It’s up to you, but remember to know why you have a purpose. Rather than focusing on WHAT you want to build in the future,

Now, if you decide to find your real purpose, we need to know whether it is a real purpose or not.

Purpose in our lives can be determined by our own intuition.

Remember that you don’t feel right about going to a place or anything else. It might be your intuition telling you no. If you're talking in your head like, "I can do this", "This is possible". Well, that's my inner voice. How do I differentiate those?

From readingsmorebyjennafer.com, Intuition comes through your senses and is unconscious—you get a feeling. see or hear a reminder, just know you need to do something, etc. Your inner voice comes from inside your mind and is conscious—a thought pops into your head, you wonder about something, etc.

To know the difference, just remember that if you have a feeling about this, it may be your intuition. If you think about something, like an idea or something else, it may be your inner voice.

So, to know your real purpose, you need to know what your intuition says to you. If you keep listening to your intuition, eventually it will give you an answer to what you really want.

But I don’t have that "intuition".

Just like I said, schools and teachers taught us to do something according to their will. We eventually "lose" our intuition. So, can we get our intuition back?

Yes, remember that you can practice it. If you want to know how to practice your intuition, you can check out my article right here.

So you knew your real purpose. What now?

Start planning!

Plan your purpose by using S.M.A.R.T. goals or other tools that you can find on the internet. If you plan it precisely (not perfectly), you will eventually achieve your goals. It’s not easy, of course, to plan a purpose or goals, but you need to do it, even if it’s just a little bit.

Then, how do I take action?

Just take the first SMALL step. Remember to always start small. If you're wondering why you need to start small, you can check out my article here.

Taking action is not easy. For real. A lot of people have a magnificent idea of their business or goals but end up doing nothing. It’s because they think too much about the future rather than taking small actions to start. So, if you are one of those people, start with a small step.

Conclusion

We all need purpose in our lives. We can’t live without purpose. Remember that boredom can be caused by having no purpose in life. Bad habits can be caused by having no purpose in life. Having purpose in your life can help you become a better person in the future. Start listening to your deepest self, and you may find your REAL purpose.
